We can determine a 3-year-old’s language abilities before they can even read.
Reading to our children develops literacy, starting from birth.
Are you doing everything you can to build your young child’s brain? More and more studies on neuroplasticity and child development are showing the impact that cognitive exercises have on our youngest minds. That’s why Simply Smarter developed the Cognition Coach.
The brain training exercises in Simply Smarter are recommended for ages 8 and up, but when our members see the progress that’s possible, they want to introduce the system to their younger kids as well.
Enter our Cognition Coach apps. These programs were designed for iPads, allowing younger kids to use the touchscreen to complete simple exercises that build a foundation for auditory and visual processing.
Just like Simply Smarter, Cognition Coach is personalized. Choose from Toddler to 3 or 3 to 5 age ranges, then select one of 6 levels of difficulty. You can also set up profiles for each of your kids and track their progress within the app.
Using Cognition Coach, your young child will learn to:
- Remember and put pictures in order
- Choose a picture from a verbal prompt
- Choose between images based on visual and verbal prompts
- Remember strings of information that increase in length and complexity
