Calmer, More Independent, Evolving Naturally: Cezar’s Story

Ioana G. shares her experience using Simply Smarter with her 12-year-old son Cezar, who has autism and is not yet working independently in the program.

“I want to share my experience with the Simply Smarter program from NACD. I consider it a valuable resource that really supports us in Cezar’s learning process.

Although Cezar does not yet work independently in the program, I easily involve him, and he says or shows the order in which he wants me to put the mouse, which means a lot to us. It is a clear sign that he is integrating the information and that the program supports him at his own pace.

For me as a parent, it is a great relief. I no longer have to create sequences every day, ask myself questions about level or progress — the program makes all these adjustments in time, and the child no longer stagnates, but evolves naturally.

Cezar accepts this format much better than the classic exercises done with me, and this reduces resistance and creates a calmer and more efficient working environment.
